The Arthritis Foundation improves thousands of lives through programs, services, information and referral, as well as professional and patient education. Staff and volunteers conduct patient service programs including public forums, seminars, health fairs, self-help groups, support groups, speaking engagements, land and water exercises, Juvenile Arthritis summer camps and arthritis clinics. apter conducts public education forums about arthritis and the programs and services of the Arthritis Foundation. Professional education and training are provided to healthcare professionals to increase knowledge of the disease for better treatment and care of arthritis patients.

Three years ago, Haley couldn't imagine riding a bike long distances - but last September, she rode 400 miles on the California Coast Classic! 💚 Living with ankylosing spondylitis, a form of inflammatory arthritis that causes chronic pain and stiffness, kept Haley on the sidelines for 10 years, but the humble bicycle 🚲 and the support of Arthritis Foundation Cycling helped change her life. This is why we ride!

🔔❤️ We’re proud to introduce Estefania Acosta, our 2026 Miami Jingle Bell Run Adult Honoree!

Estefania was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at just 9 years old. Today, at 40, she continues to navigate life with rheumatoid arthritis with resilience, strength and optimism.

Estefania and her husband call Miami home, and she proudly serves on the Arthritis Foundation South Florida Board. As this year’s Adult Honoree, she hopes that sharing her story will inspire others living with arthritis, raise awareness about autoimmune disease and remind our community that no one has to face arthritis alone.

We can’t wait to celebrate Estefania at the Miami Jingle Bell Run on Saturday, December 12 at Haulover Park! 🎄🔔

💚 There’s something pretty special about being surrounded by families who just get it.

This weekend, our juvenile arthritis community came together for JA Family Day at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort — and the day was filled with connection, friendship, laughter and plenty of Disney magic. ✨

Kids had the chance to meet other kids living with JA. Parents connected with other parents who understand the journey. Families made new friendships, shared experiences and enjoyed a day together where our JA kids could simply have FUN.

And judging by these photos, visits from Goofy and Pluto were a pretty big hit! 🐾❤️

These days matter because juvenile arthritis can sometimes feel isolating — for kids and for their families. Bringing everyone together reminds us that no family has to navigate it alone.

Thank you to every family who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. Seeing friendships form, families reconnect and our kids having the best time is exactly why this community is so important. 💚
