We have to share the photo of our SPIFFS exchange students from St. Pete and Takamatsu, who visited one anothers' cities & who recently toured Creative Clay!

Creative Clay was recently honored to host a group of exchange students from Takamatsu, Japan, along with a group of St. Pete high school students who visited Takamatsu this summer. Riko, one of our exchange students from Takamatsu, presented a talk on the art of Hariko, which is a form of paper mache sculpture specific to Takamatsu. Riko brought 10 small hariko cat sculptures for 10 of our member artists to paint. We had a great day, and here, our member artists “thank” our guests as they showed off their Hariko cats!
