This morning was a blend of all things Care Fair! School is almost back in session and we are ringing the bell on the importance of medical care and back-to-school readiness for K-12 students.

Marie Hartney and Dr. Sarah Kelley sat down with Tampa Bay's Morning Blend's Roxanne Wilder ahead of Saturday's Care Fair to discuss JLSP's annual event and the medical services provided by Evara Health. In addition to school supplies, books, and health services, there will be a street and agency fair with a variety of organizations from JWB to Girls on the Run. Stop by from 8am-12pm to gear up for the upcoming school year, and get a picture with Morris from Great Explorations.

1,366 backpacks were stuffed with school supplies over the weekend for JLSP’s Care Fair. Our volunteers can't wait to help K-12 students pick out their favorite style and get ready for this coming school year. See you Saturday in the backpack room at the back-to-school Care Fair at Evara Health! 🎒

Our weekend plans officially involve shopping and backpack stuffing because we are now only a little over a week way from our annual Care Fair!

JLSP’s annual Back-to-School Care Fair is an opportunity for parents to get all the school essentials in one place, and for us all to have some fun as we count down the last days of summer. There will be music, prizes, and organizations from all over Pinellas County coming together to help provide students with the resources they need for a successful school year.

Join us Saturday, July 25 from 8am-12pm at Evara Health at the Johnnie Ruth Clarke Center!

It takes a village, and we are grateful every day for the community and our volunteers who make Care Fair possible!

We would like to shout out Chloe Firebaugh, Neil Brickfield, Elise Minkoff and everyone at the Pinellas County Housing Authority for providing JLSP space to store Care Fair supplies. Because of you and all our incredible volunteers, we are one step closer to filling the backpacks of K-12 students all over the county.

The supplies are sorted, next up: backpack stuffing!
