Another Scholar to recognize as the LASF’s Scholarship recipient of 2026 👨🏻‍🎓🎉

Ethan from Northglenn, Colorado! 🌟

Ethan plans to study Mechanical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. He recognizes that “education is imperative to the growth of our community” and hopes to create educational opportunities that empower young people while also honoring the sacrifices of those who came before him.

Sophia plans to study Public Relations and Advertising at the University of South Florida and hopes to use communication, leadership, and advocacy to connect and empower diverse communities.

2026 high school graduating class, it’s time to draft your application for the annual LASF scholarship!

Please submit your application requirements by May 1st to be eligible. Applicants must be Lao-American high school seniors attending high school in the US.

After application deadline, the LASF team will take roughly 2-3 weeks to process all submissions. Please look out for our post for the 9th Annual Graduation Ceremony, which we will announce the winners 🎓🎉

This year’s recipients had the chance to connect with past scholarship winners from 2017, 2020, and 2024 sharing stories, laughter, and inspiration across generations. We are so proud of the incredible journeys each of them is on and can’t wait to see how they continue to uplift the Lao American community. 💛📚
