Still riding the high from last week’s Battle of the Burg—safe to say we haven’t come back down yet.

Together, we raised over $4,300 for Parc Center for Disabilities, directly supporting the interests of their adult programs—making this our most successful Battle of the Burg to date.

A big congratulations to this year’s winner, Carey Kleinmetz of Local Women of Impact!👏

And a huge thank you to Voodoo Brewing Co. - St. Pete, our incredible bartenders Joseph Papich and Carey Kleinmetz, our committee, and every single one of you who showed up and supported such a meaningful cause. We couldn’t do it without you.

By day, he serves as AVP, Employee Benefits Advisor at WWW Insurance, an IMA Company, where he helps Tampa Bay organizations build sustainable Total Rewards strategies that attract, retain, and support their people.

Join us April 13 from 6–8 PM at Voodoo Brewing Co. - St. Pete as our guest bartenders go head-to-head to raise the most funds for Parc!

First up: Carey Kleinmetz

By day, Carey serves as Development Manager for Volunteers of America, where she supports efforts to provide housing and vital services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. She also serves on the selection committee for 100 Women Who Care St Petersburg and has long been an advocate for meaningful community impact.

By night? Bartender for a cause. 🍸

Carey is stepping behind the bar to support Parc Center for Disabilities and help create more opportunities for individuals in our community.

🎉 We’re excited to announce this year’s bartenders for the 3rd Annual Battle of the Burg! 🎉

Behind the bar this year will be Carey Kleinmetz of 100 Women Who Care St Petersburg and Joseph Papich of 100 Good Guys - St. Pete — bringing two incredible groups together for a little friendly competition and a great cause.

They’ll be stepping behind the bar at Voodoo Brewing Co. - St. Pete on Monday, April 13 from 6–8 p.m. to battle it out while raising support for Parc Center for Disabilities.

It’s going to be a fun night filled with great drinks, great people, and plenty of energy. Get ready to come out and cheer on your favorite bartender!

Our Holiday Market Returns Tonight!!!!

We hope you will join us this evening for one of our favorite events of the year. The 3rd Annual Parc NextGen Holiday Market is back, and it is shaping up to be a beautiful night of community, creativity, and giving. This celebration brings together the spirit of the season with the mission of Parc Center for Disabilities, and every person who attends plays a part in making an impact.

As you work through your holiday list, this is a wonderful opportunity to shop with purpose. Parc artists have created one-of-a-kind pieces that are full of expression and heart. Each artwork holds a story, and every purchase supports the artist behind it, who earns a 50% commission. Your gift becomes twice as meaningful when it helps empower someone’s independence and creativity.

Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and plenty of festive energy. Bring a little extra cash if you would like to participate in the raffle and help support Parc programs in a fun and engaging way.

Voodoo Brewing Co. is also joining in the holiday spirit with their brew, “You’re My Boy Blue,” a blueberry wheat ale. One dollar from every purchase will be donated directly to Parc Center for Disabilities. It is a simple way to give back while enjoying the evening.

Whether you come for the art, the atmosphere, the camaraderie, or the cause, tonight offers a chance to connect with friends, meet our NextGen committee, and support a mission that helps individuals with disabilities thrive. Your presence truly makes a difference.

Now through December 15, Voodoo Brewing Co. - St. Pete in collaboration with Florida Avenue Brewing Co are donating $1 from every “You’re My Boy Blue” blueberry wheat beer straight back to Parc — supporting programs that empower children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
