This extremely fast grower can climb up to 125 ft tall, with peeling bark that reveals the gorgeous colors underneath. Our hearts are full after Saturday’s inaugural Flamingo Swing Classic. 🦩⛳️💚

To every golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer and friend who helped make this day possible—thank you. Whether you joined us on the course, sponsored the tournament, donated a raffle prize or gave your time behind the scenes, you helped bring something special to life.

Seeing so many people come together in support of Sunken Gardens reminded us how much this place means to our community. Your generosity helps Sunken Gardens Forever Foundation support the care, preservation and educational experiences that keep its legacy growing.

The Flamingo Swing Classic tees off October 3 at Mangrove Bay Golf Course! Get ready for a day of golf, special feathered guests, and community support for Sunken Gardens. 💚

⛳️ Players may warm up starting at 7 am. Sh***un is at 8 am. ⛳️

Fun fact: The turtles and tortoises at Sunken Gardens are omnivores! 🐢 Their menu includes fruits and vegetables and snacks like earthworms, crickets, and grasshoppers. What would you pick from their menu?

Tampa International Airport, please let her know she’s invited to join the flock for the inaugural Flamingo Swing Classic on October 3! We know she’s busy welcoming millions of travelers and being 21 feet tall, but we’re hoping she can squeeze us into her schedule.

For everyone who is not currently supervising an international airport, there’s still time to register your four-player team or become a sponsor!
