When you're blessed to have two strong women in your life who were also raised by a strong, God-fearing woman, you learn morals and values that many people may never learn in a lifetime. You learn the difference between empathy and compassion. You learn never to take anything for granted and never to look down on anyone because of their circumstances.

For more than 40 years, these two remarkable women have given selflessly to others. To them, there were no strangers. If someone was in need, they always found a way to help. Today, We Are the Change, Inc. and God's Anointed Ministries continue to stand strong because of these two incredible women. Not simply because of what they taught, but because of the lives they have lived and the examples they continue to set.

Their legacy is one of faith, service, compassion, and unconditional love. They have inspired generations to serve others with humility and to make a difference, not through words alone, but through consistent acts of kindness.

Thank you both for showing us what it truly means to love God by serving His people. Your impact will be felt for generations to come.

We’re getting ready for our 3rd Annual Community BBQ, and we’d love your support to make this year’s event our best one yet. This day brings together families, neighbors, and community partners—and you can help make it happen.

There are several ways to get involved:

Cold Night Shelters open tonight in St. Pete! Warm, safe spaces are available on Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. First-come, first-served — anyone in need is welcome!

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to the WATC 3rd Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Your support, generosity, and presence helped us create a warm, joyful, and impactful day for those in need. Together, we made a real difference. Serving over 300 meals.
