Cold Night Shelters open tonight in St. Pete! Warm, safe spaces are available on Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. First-come, first-served — anyone in need is welcome!

Adult Shelters:

🚌 Free rides: Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority offers fare-free trips to/from shelters from 5 p.m. Tuesday – 7 a.m. Wednesday. Tell the driver you’re heading to a Cold Night Shelter.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to the WATC 3rd Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Your support, generosity, and presence helped us create a warm, joyful, and impactful day for those in need. Together, we made a real difference. Serving over 300 meals. I hope you're safe and well. I wanted to take a moment to check in and see how you’re holding up. While we are all dedicated professionals, we must remember that we are, first and foremost, human beings with emotional lives. The changes we’ve experienced lately may have posed personal challenges that obscure the meaningfulness and impact of the important work we do. It’s completely natural to feel a whirlwind of emotions. Confusion, helplessness, betrayal, fear, uncertainty, and sadness can all arise during such times.



As we navigate our professional obligations, let’s not forget that we carry these feelings with us. With that in mind, I sincerely want to know how you are faring. Please remember to be compassionate with yourselves and others. Patience is paramount as we collectively find our footing. I urge each of you to lift one another up, empower, encourage, and embolden one another as we move forward together.



If you find yourself in need of support or someone to talk to, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or to someone you trust. Even the strongest among us have our moments of vulnerability, and it’s perfectly okay to not be okay. Take care of yourselves.
