I agree with Sheriff Gualtieri about this incident. The SPPD officers did everything they could to avoid using deadly force. This was an unfortunate incident and I wish the officers comfort while knowing they took someone’s life.

On Monday, September 28, 2026, Sheriff Gualtieri held a press confe...

Not even Flock cameras?
You just admitted what many of us have been saying since this debate began: the majority of our taxes go to the police department. Since you took office, I haven’t seen a police vehicle on the street older than three years. They’ve gotten new toys to play with—hell, they were even experimenting with police dog robots. And don’t get me started on the military-grade, war-purpose equipment currently sitting in the police inventory.
Look, Ken, it was simple. Any threat above a certain level could have been referred to the Sheriff’s Office. You chose to weigh spending on human life and quality of life against the demands of a glorified, bloated police department that has never faced—and will never face—the threats they’re spending our tax dollars to prepare for. Your administration has not been one of responsible leadership.
The mistake made by those behind the “Vote No on Amendment 3” campaign was believing we would trust the same people who refuse to manage and budget better to suddenly start doing so. We don’t trust Ken on this issue. Most people who understand the value of a well-paid, well-trained, and properly monitored law enforcement agency don’t trust this approach either.
The message sent this November can be taken as feedback—or you can throw another tantrum of defiance, just like every corrupt police officers we’ve seen on body cameras. Either way, we are past the point where every locality gets to decide what’s best for its own community.
We’re done hearing Ken tell us what’s good for us.In November, we’ll show Ken what’s best for us.

Democrats pay attention.
You are running on a life affordability crisis in Florida and yet you oppose giving the tax payers much needed tax relief. It does not make sense and in my opinion this is why the blue wave is not coming to Florida.
The best political move would have been to remain quiet on the issue. Silence is a strategic move too.
The majority of Floridians will vote for amendment 3, some are only voting because of amendment 3, this is the biggest motivation for voter turnout and you are speaking against it.
Fools, all of you!

Meet Brad Falbo, one of the most dedicated and civic-minded residents our city is fortunate to have.
With unwavering passion and quiet determination, this remarkable citizen has made transparency and accountability in local government their personal mission. They show up—not for recognition, but because they genuinely believe every resident deserves clear answers, open books, and leaders who answer to the people they serve.
Their commitment is steady and sincere. Whether carefully reviewing public records, thoughtfully raising questions at meetings, or encouraging neighbors to stay informed and engaged, they approach every effort with respect, integrity, and a deep love for this community. They don’t seek conflict; they seek better government—government that is honest, responsive, and worthy of the trust of the people who live here.
In a time when many feel disconnected from City Hall, this resident stands as a quiet but powerful reminder of what active citizenship looks like: informed, persistent, hopeful, and deeply invested in making our city stronger and more for everyone.
We are lucky to have him.

Never mess with the old black woman. She went through some real BS her entire life, you can’t shake her. Listen to the conversation (argument) with Trump.
