Northwest Allstars Rookie B Defeat RPB Wildcats Green 8U In High-Scoring Affair

Bats were blistered as Northwest Allstars Rookie B topped RPB Wildcats Green 8U 16-13 on Thursday at Ocala Rotary Sportsplex. Northwest Allstars Rookie B collected 28 hits, while RPB Wildcats Green 8U had 23.
Vincent P collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Vincent hit a home run in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
Northwest Allstars Rookie B jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after CJ S doubled, scoring three runs, Bryce B singled, scoring one run, and Vincent homered, scoring two runs.
Cameron M hit a solo home run in the top of the second for the Northwest Allstars Rookie B.
RPB Wildcats Green 8U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring five runs on seven hits to take the lead, 9-7. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Jaxson H on an 0-2 count that drove in two.
Northwest Allstars Rookie B took the lead, 14-9, in the top of the fourth thanks to singles by Jacob K, CJ, Bryce, Vincent, and AJ F.
Nick D started on the mound for Northwest Allstars Rookie B. The starter surrendered 23 hits and 13 runs over five innings, striking out one and walking none.
Northwest Allstars Rookie B accumulated 28 hits in the game. Bryce led Northwest Allstars Rookie B with five runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup.
