Yesterday, the Sisters of Shining Light Chapter No. 39, alongside members of JS Trobridge No. 9 (some of us in dual capacity), were at Bay Pines National Cemetery by laying flags in honor of our fallen soldiers. 🇺🇸❤️

It was truly a humbling and meaningful experience to pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

While there, we could not leave without stopping to pay homage to our own fallen brother, Jonathan Harrison, at his final resting place. His memory continues to live on in our hearts. He is deeply loved, truly missed, and never forgotten. 🕊️

Congratulations to our Associate Matron, PWM Sameea Perkins! We are so proud of your amazing accomplishments!

As Assistant Dean of Student Success and Retention at Pasco-Hernando State College, Sameea Perkins’ military experience has strengthened her resilience, discipline and commitment to service, which directly supports her work with students. The military taught her perseverance, responsibility, and the importance of staying focused on goals despite challenges—qualities that guide how she supports students as they work toward completing their educational objectives.

She is deeply committed to being a champion for student success and an advocate for all students, helping them navigate obstacles and remain encouraged throughout their academic journey. Her experience has reinforced the importance of persistence, clear communication, and connecting students to the resources and support they need to stay on track, complete their programs, and move forward with confidence.
