It's time to come tree climb! Tomorrow, we're having a very special send off to celebrate the time Pathfinder has spent at Lakeview Presbyterian Church since 2008. We're having our final community Open Tree Climb to say goodbye to our office's beloved live oak tree, Abram, before we move to our new location!🌳

Here's the need to know👇
- TOMORROW, June 6th from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm (*last block will begin at 1:45*).
- Tree climbers must be 6+ years old to participate.
- Climbing with us is FREE, thanks to the Hough Foundation for sponsoring our community tree climbing events.
- Tree climb blocks are first come, first serve, and sign-ups for blocks will begin at 9:45 am.
- Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle are recommended.

It's finally almost here- Pathfinder's Old Florida Soirée Fundraiser is TOMORROW, May 30th!

We have music, shuffleboard, an incredible silent auction, delicious food provided by Wild Child, specialty drinks, live poetry, and more in store to help us raise money for our Youth Scholarship Fund!

📍We'll be at St. Pete Shuffle 559 Mirror Lake Dr. N., St. Petersburg

💃 Vintage or Florida-inspired attire is encouraged.

We have big news! Pathfinder's office location is moving (but don't worry, we're just going down the street in St. Pete)!☀️

We can't wait for Pathfinder's 2026 Old Florida Soirée Fundraiser! This year we're back at this Saturday, May 30th, from 7-10:30 pm to help build our Youth Scholarship Fund. Come enjoy a night of delicious food and drinks, shuffleboard, music, dancing, and connection! AND check out our silent auction lineup donated by some of Tampa Bay's amazing local businesses!

All proceeds from the event go towards Pathfinder's Youth Scholarship Fund supporting Pinellas County Title 1 School students. When you sponsor our event, donate, or purchase a ticket, you help our participants build confidence, cultivate leadership skills, and develop environmental awareness through experiential education!

We had so much fun with this year that we forgot to take any photos! Every year is a blast spending time with schools, families, Jr. Scientists, and our community getting to learn the science behind making fires. Here are some photos from the past few years of you all safely experimenting with building your own fires.🔥

Come find us at the Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival this coming weekend on Saturday, February 14th for FREE tree climbing from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm! *Our last block will begin at 3:15. We'll be across the street from the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum of Florida in St. Pete!🌳

Come find us at our monthly Open Tree Climb this month on February 14th at the Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival! We will be located across the street from the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum of Florida. 🌳

All you need to know to climb with us:
📍2240 9th Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712
📆 Saturday, February 14th
- Both the festival and tree climbing with us are FREE!!
- Climbers must be at least 6 years old to participate.
- Tree climb blocks will be first come, first serve; sign-ups to start at 9:45 am. (The festival starts at 9:00 am, so you've got time to explore and come find our station!)
- Climbing blocks are 45 minutes, with our last group beginning at 3:15 pm.
- Wearing closed-toe shoes and bringing a reusable water bottle is recommended.

Wow, we are still glowing after this weekend's TravelSmiths in the Trees event!

Adult participants got to connect with fellow travelers, design some of their dream itineraries, learn about sustainable and community tourism, and enjoy some time in a live oak canopy. (And of course win some amazing raffle prizes!)

We are so grateful for the support of our sponsor and event organizer that helped make this possible.

We raised $600 through tickets sales and raffle entries that go directly to Pathfinder's Youth Scholarship Fund. This supports our mission to bring more young people in our community outside for fun, challenging adventures that help them learn about themselves, each other, and the environment.

Keep an eye out for more events like this in the future to support your favorite St. Pete-based nonprofit and maybe win a trip!
