You do NOT have to experience infant loss personally to walk with us. 🦋

Maybe it’s your baby.

Maybe it’s your grandbaby.

Your niece or nephew.

Your best friend’s baby.

A family you supported as a doula.

A patient you’ll never forget.

Or maybe you don’t have a name to carry at all — you simply believe no family should have to carry loss alone.

Then this walk is for you, too.

On October 17, we’re bringing families, birth workers, healthcare professionals, advocates and our entire community together for the 5th Annual Walk to Remember.

Five years we’ve walked in remembrance.

This year, we March for Mace.

And we want YOU there.

Five years later, we’re still saying their names. 🦋💙

Registration is officially OPEN for The Mace Anthony Williamson Foundation’s 5th Annual Walk to Remember, happening Saturday, October 17, 2026.

And hear us clearly:

THIS EVENT IS FREE.

You don’t have to be a loss parent to walk with us.

Maybe you lost a baby.

Maybe your sister did.

Your daughter.

Your best friend.

Your coworker.

Maybe you’re a doula, nurse, birth worker, healthcare professional or community member who has held a family through loss.

Maybe you simply believe that every baby deserves to be remembered and every grieving family deserves to be surrounded by community.

There is space for you here.

This year marks five years of remembrance and five years of impact, and we’re asking our entire community to show up.

Come remember.

Come support.

Come stand beside a family.

Come March for Mace.

🦋 Cohort 4 is officially complete!

This past weekend, The Mace Anthony Williamson Foundation welcomed Cohort 4 of The Doula Project Resource Training, and what an incredible day of learning, connection, and hands-on experience! 🎓💙

Our newest doulas spent the day strengthening their skills through practical demonstrations, real-life scenarios, maternal and postpartum education, breastfeeding support, comfort measures, birth positioning, documentation, advocacy, and so much more.

A very special thank you to our guest doula trainers, Doula Jazmyne and Doula Whitney, for sharing their knowledge, experience, and passion with our trainees. Having experienced birth workers pour into the next generation of doulas is exactly the kind of community we want to continue building.

Thank you to DJ Josh for keeping the energy going throughout the day, to our amazing volunteers, and to members of Cohorts 1 and 2 who returned to support, encourage, and welcome our newest doulas. Seeing previous cohorts come back and pour into the women coming behind them was one of the most special parts of the day. 🥹

And finally, CONGRATULATIONS TO COHORT 4! 🌹🎓

We are proud of the work you put in, the questions you asked, the skills you practiced, and your commitment to serving mothers, babies, and families with compassion and excellence.

The village keeps growing. And so does the work. 🦋

Welcome to The Doula Project Resource family, Cohort 4! 💙

MEET OUR GUEST DOULA TRAINER: JAZMYNE HENSON ✨

We are honored to welcome Jazmyne Henson, Full-Spectrum Doula and Founder of Zen & Honey Doula Services, as a Guest Trainer for The Doula Project Resource Doula Training this weekend!

Jazmyne is a POWERHOUSE birth worker who brings the perfect combination of holistic care + practical, hands-on support. Her work centers the whole person—supporting families emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

And this weekend, our doulas get to LEARN FROM HER. 👏🏾

Jazmyne will be getting hands-on with our trainees covering labor and birth positions, birth ball and peanut ball techniques, comfort measures, and practical doula support skills they can take directly into the birth room.

This is what DPR training is about: learning from birth workers who are actively doing the work.

Jazmyne, we are HONORED to have you pouring into our next group of doulas. 💙

MEET OUR GUEST DOULA TRAINER: WHITNEY ✨

TWENTY YEARS. 👏🏾

We are incredibly honored to welcome Doula Whitney, Founder of The Doula Ministry, as a Guest Trainer for The Doula Project Resource Doula Training this weekend!

Whitney brings 20 years of experience supporting mothers and families through pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

She is a Certified Lactation Counselor and Certified Maternal Child Community Health Worker, but what makes her contribution even more special is her heart for teaching and mentoring other doulas.

Our trainees will learn from Whitney about breastfeeding and lactation support, labor and birth support, postpartum and newborn care, and what it means to become a confident, compassionate doula.

We don’t just want doulas leaving DPR with a certificate.

We want them leaving equipped to SERVE. 💙🤌🏾

And having experienced women like Whitney pour into them is part of how we make that happen.

Whitney, thank you for bringing your experience, knowledge, faith, and heart for families into this space. We are honored to have you!
