Woodson Warriors Scholarships Fund

Woodson Warriors Scholarships Fund Scholarship funding awarded to qualified African American college-bound students by the Dr. Carter G.Woodson African American Museum.

Funds are raised through the sale of premium artwork and financial donations. Founded in 2018, the Woodson Warriors Scholarships Fund has by Auction raised and awarded nearly $75,000.00 to 11 African American Scholars for the academic years 2018-19 and 2019-2020. With additional donations the Fund currently has another $75,000.00 plus a $50,000.00 commitment for the upcoming academic year 2020-202

1. The intention is to fund scholars throughout their four year undergraduate educations, while adding more scholars each year as the
Fund grows. Scholars are selected and awarded by the Dr. Carter G.Woodson African American Museum. Please see www.woodsonscholarships.com to meet the scholars and more information.

Just TWO Weeks ago the Woodson Warrios Scholarships fund raised about $300,000!!!

We are ever so very grateful to have two new donors at $25,000 each, one at $10,000, seven at $5,000, two at $3,500, five
at $2,500, twenty-five at $1,000, over 50 at $100, and many,
many more somewhere in between.

Every donation is an important contribution to helping our amazing scholars stay in school.

The Woodson Warriors Scholarships Fund is more to our scholars then monitary support, it provides a community of love that is encouraging all to move forward in their education.
