October is AAC Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating the many ways people communicate!

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) helps individuals express their thoughts, feelings, wants, and needs using tools like pictures, symbols, communication boards, and speech-generating devices.

At The Center for Autism Education, we know that communication looks different for everyone, and every form of communication deserves to be heard, understood, and celebrated!

A special shoutout to our amazing speech team, Jamie and Jaden, for helping our students find their voices, build confidence, and connect with the world around them!

Communication is more than words, and every voice deserves to be heard!

What a day on the courts! 🏓💙

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported CAE’s Pickleball Tournament! Whether you played, cheered from the sidelines, bid in our silent auction, volunteered, or helped spread the word, you helped make our first tournament such a fun and memorable event.

Our First Annual CAE Pickleball Tournament is coming up this weekend, and our Online Silent Auction will open Saturday at 10:00 AM!

You don’t have to attend the tournament to participate. Anyone can bid in person or online on a great selection of items, gift cards, experiences, baskets, and more!

How to Bid:
• Visit our auction page and register for free
• Add your payment information
• Browse the auction items and place your bids
• Keep an eye on your favorites and bid again if you’re outbid!
• The auction closes at 1:00 PM this Saturday
• Winning bidders will be automatically charged at the close of the auction

Exciting news! 🎉
Work on our new outdoor rec area at our Adult Day Center began this morning!

Our construction team is officially getting the space ready for all of the new equipment and updates, with our playground equipment scheduled to ship in mid-October.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this new outdoor space possible. We can’t wait to watch it all come together and share the finished space with our consumers! 💙
