The 10-78 Project is a Non-Profit organization founded, developed, and operated by Law Enforcement Officers who have experienced critical incidents or Officer Involved Shootings. The Goal of The 10-78 Project is to provide a “Rapid Response” to Law Enforcment Officers and their families providing the following resources within 48 Hours of our notification:

Emotional Support: Provide a compassion

ate and non-judgmental environment where officers and their families can express their emotions, concerns, and fears without fear of stigma or reprisal. Practical Assistance: Offer tangible assistance in the form of flowers, a personalized card, gift cards to cover meals, and a comprehensive list of resources tailored to the officer's needs. Accessible Resources: Compile a comprehensive database of mental health professionals, support groups, legal resources, and other relevant services to guide officers and their families towards the right support networks. Holistic Healing: Promote overall well-being by facilitating access to mental health services, counseling, peer support, and self-care resources to ensure officers and their families receive the necessary tools to cope with trauma and foster resilience. The 10-78 Project is committed to foster partnerships with local law enforcement agencies, mental health organizations, and community stakeholders to raise awareness about the challenges faced by officers and encourage collective support for their well-being. Additionally, we are developing educational programs and training initiatives to equip officers, their families, and the broader community with the knowledge and understanding necessary to effectively support those impacted by Officer Involved Shootings. We, at The 10-78 Project, have a deep and very real understanding of how you are feeling and the things you are experiencing during this time. We are committed to ensuring that you and your family do not feel alone, confused, or without assistance.

Big things coming, stayed tuned. We are excited for our new partnership program! Thank you to the City of St. Charles for your commitment to you first responders!

I was honored to participate today in the official signing of an agreement between the City of St. Charles and The 10-78 Project that will provide immediate assistance and support to our law enforcement officers and first responders involved in critical incidents.

As conversations surrounding mental health continue to grow in importance, it is critical that we recognize the challenges our first responders face each day while serving citizens during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through this partnership, The 10-78 Project will provide immediate support to officers and their families, helping them navigate the emotional and practical challenges that often follow these incidents.

As the son of a law enforcement officer, and as a public official, I was especially proud to participate in and witness the beginning of this important partnership supporting our City employees and those who serve our community every day.

🇺🇸 JOIN US FOR THE FIRST RESPONDER WELLNESS RUCK 🇺🇸

The 10-78 Project is proud to partner with Building Change, 1st Phorm Outdoors, F3, and Goodnews Brewing for a powerful morning focused on fellowship, resilience, and honoring those we’ve lost to the struggles surrounding law enforcement mental health.

Free registration: https://the1078projectruck.rsvpify.com

This FREE community event will consist of a 7.8-mile ruck beginning on the Katy Trail and ending at Goodnews Brewing in Defiance, Missouri. Participants are encouraged to ruck, walk, or simply come out to support the mission. Weighted vests are welcome for those wanting an extra challenge.

Throughout the ruck, we will honor officers who have fallen as a result of the mental and emotional burdens carried in this profession while continuing to raise awareness surrounding first responder wellness and post-critical incident support.

🍺 Anyone who makes a donation to the 10-78 Project during the event will receive a beer ticket courtesy of Goodnews Brewing.

🍔 Food and drinks will be available for purchase at Goodnews Brewing following the ruck, so bring your family and friends and stay for the fellowship afterward.

A huge thank you to our partners and supporters:

Together, we continue building a stronger support system for the men and women who serve our communities every day.
