Nicollet County 4-H is a place where youth learn, lead, and build meaningful connection with adults who believe in them. 4-H is the University of Minnesota's youth development program and is open to all youth. Youth in kindergarten through one year past high school participate in short-term activities or long term clubs, where groups meet regularly to work on projects, perform community service an

d develop leadership skills. 4-H youth will learn public speaking skills, how to collaborate, understand government and community and how to develop and reach life and career goals. An exciting project is underway at the fairgrounds this summer!

The wash rack is an important space where cattle exhibitors prepare their animals for the show ring. Countless 4-H members and exhibitors have spent early mornings and long fair days washing and getting their animals show-ready here. With more exhibitors using the wash rack each year, this project will create a safer and more functional space.

This project began in February when a group of volunteers and members came together to brainstorm ideas. Thanks to their effort, commitment, and the generous support of our sponsors, that vision is becoming a reality.

Join us for a FREE Family Fun Night!
Nicollet County 4-H is excited to partner with Nicollet Public School District Community Education for a fun-filled evening next week that the whole family can enjoy!

Come explore hands on activities while learning more about opportunities available through 4-H. Everyone is welcome - whether you're already involved in 4-H or just curious to learn more.

T-ball families: This event will run alongside t-ball so come a little early and join in the fun before your game!

Join us for an afternoon of camp-themed fun at the North Mankato Splash Pad! We’ll enjoy camp games and activities along with time to play at the park and splash pad.

The day camp will be held on Monday, June 22 from 12–4 p.m. and is open to youth in grades K–3. The cost is $10 per participant.
