Please send prayers out for two 2nd District Legion Riders who were injured by a crash involving a deer. They are recovering in Sioux Falls. Names are not available at this time.

The new Fairmont chapter of the American Legion Riders will be doing a ride on Saturday, August 29, 2026 to raise funds for the DAV to help local veterans in need. Any one with a motorcycle, trike or classic car is welcome to attend. The cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger. Registration is at 8 AM at the Fairmont American Legion and kickstands are up at 9AM. Door prizes will be awarded along the way with a silent auction at the end during the meal. Entrance fee includes the meal at the end of the ride. The public at large is welcome to attend the community meal at the legion at the end of the ride. The meal is from 6 to 8 PM.
I apologize for the flyer being folded but I rode my bike to the meeting and had to fold it to return home. If you are a veteran and Legion member or belong to the Sons of the American Legion and like to ride, please enquire at Donna’s email on flyer to find out how to join the Fairmont AmerLegion Riders group.
MCVM group would like to thank members of the American Legion Riders who attended our helicopter dedication ceremony several years ago. Riders do a lot to help their brothers and sisters in arms.
