🎉 Congratulations to Our Newest Eagle Scout! 🦅

Please join us in congratulating Sam Szybnski on successfully completing his Eagle Scout Board of Review and officially earning the rank of Eagle Scout!

Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout is no small feat. Only a small percentage of Scouts who begin their Scouting journey go on to earn Scouting's highest rank. Reaching this milestone takes years of dedication, leadership, perseverance, service to others, and a commitment to living the Scout Oath and Law every day.

We are incredibly proud of Sam and all of the hard work he has put into reaching this achievement. His accomplishment is a testament not only to his determination, but also to the support of his family, fellow Scouts, leaders, and our wonderful community.

This also marks an exciting milestone for Troop 58 in St. Peter—Sam is our third Eagle Scout in the past year! That is an incredible accomplishment for our troop and reflects the outstanding commitment and leadership of our Scouts and volunteers.

Congratulations, Sam! Your Troop 58 family is proud of you, and we can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish in the future.

🦅 Congratulations, Eagle Scout! 🎉

This week, the Scouts of Troop 58 are off on an unforgettable adventure at Many Point Scout Camp! 🏕️⛵🥾

As they spend the week earning merit badges, building leadership skills, making lifelong friendships, and creating memories that will last a lifetime, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to the amazing Saint Peter community.

Your support of our fundraisers throughout the year—from popcorn and meat stick sales to tent rentals and community events—helps make experiences like this possible. Every purchase, donation, and word of encouragement directly supports our Scouts and gives them opportunities to grow in confidence, responsibility, and character.

Because of your generosity, these young men are able to experience the outdoors, challenge themselves, and continue their Scouting journey.

From all of us at Troop 58, thank you for believing in our Scouts and investing in their future. We couldn't do it without you!

Have an incredible week at camp, Scouts! We can't wait to hear all about your adventures when you return.

💙⚜️ Thank you, Saint Peter, for supporting Scouting!

Last night, Troop 58 held a Court of Honor celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of our Scouts, while also recognizing a very special leader.

We were honored to celebrate Scoutmaster Aaron Libra as he steps back after five years of dedicated service to Troop 58. Aaron has spent countless hours leading campouts, teaching skills, encouraging Scouts, and helping shape young men into leaders. His impact on this troop will be felt for years to come.

One of the highlights of the evening was having Aaron’s father, and former Scoutmaster, Larry Libra, with us, along with several others from Aaron’s Scouting journey. It was a special reminder of the lifelong friendships, mentorship, and legacy Scouting creates across generations. Thank you, Aaron, for your leadership, commitment, and the example you set for every Scout in our troop. These Scouts are part of your Scouting legacy!

Today, Scouts and families from Troop 58 joined together with members of the local Masons for a meaningful service project helping Jan Hamilton, the widow of former Troop 58 Scoutmaster Bob Hamilton.

Volunteers spent the afternoon doing yard work, trimming bushes, washing windows, and painting clothesline poles to help spruce up her home. Bob and the Hamilton family dedicated decades of service to Troop 58, and this was a great opportunity for our Scouts to give back to a longtime troop family.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help and live the Scout Oath and Law through service to others. We’re proud of the leadership and teamwork shown today!

Troop 58 had a full (and chilly!) weekend of Scouting adventures ❄️🏕️

We camped at Norsland Scout Camp and definitely braved the cold, but that didn’t slow us down! Scouts also took part in our annual Adopt-a-Highway ditch clean-up, helping keep our community clean and doing our part to care for the environment 🌎

We wrapped up the weekend by lending a hand to Sam as he finished building birdhouses for his Eagle Scout project 🦅🔨

Great teamwork, service, and perseverance all around—way to go, Troop 58! 💪
