We strive to educate ourselves and others on various issues through study, discussion, open forums, voter registration and advocacy. Peter, Mankato-North Mankato and surrounding areas. Together we socialize, have fun, serve our communities and learn all at the same time.

Just because the election is over doesn't mean there is no work left to be done. Counties across Minnesota are conducting their Post Election Reviews (PER). It's required by state statue as another measure to check the accuracy of the voting machines. Each county selects at least two random precincts (larger counties must do more) to hand count and compare with the machine count. And it's open to the public. Steve Simon explains the process in the video below.

The League of Women Voters had observers in 44 out of the 87
Minnesota counties.
