📏 The Traveling Ruler has a new home!

The Traveling Ruler has officially made its way from River's Edge Hospital & Clinic to Forensic Services after a friendly—and competitive—school supply challenge!

A big thank-you to both businesses for supporting Friends of Learning and helping make a difference for students in St. Peter and rural Nicollet County.

We love the spirit behind this friendly rivalry. As Stephanie Holden, FACHE, Chief Experience Officer, shared:

💬 “Congratulations DCT Team! Our friendly rivalry really benefits the students in Nicollet County. We are all winners!!”

And Jaime Flynn, Medical Services Administrative Director, couldn’t agree more:

💬 “Such an amazing way to support our community! We absolutely are ALL winners! But especially Forensics – because we’re getting the RULER back!!! 😉”

Jaime even invited the River’s Edge staff to stop by and visit the ruler anytime!

🏆 Congratulations to our Small Business Winner!

Each year, Friends of Learning challenges area businesses to collect school supplies and monetary donations to support our local students and teachers.

We’re excited to recognize HomeTown Bank as this year’s Small Business Winner! As part of the award, they will receive a certificate for advertising from KNUJ.

📏 And the Traveling Ruler goes to… Forensic Services! 🎉

Each year, Friends of Learning challenges area businesses to collect school supplies and monetary donations to support our local students and teachers.

The competition was fierce, but Forensic Services pulled ahead to collect the most school supplies among all participating businesses! They’ll be hosting the Traveling Ruler Trophy until next year’s challenge.

In addition to the Traveling Ruler, Forensic Services also received a certificate for advertising from the St. Peter Herald. Thank you for your support of Friends of Learning and our students and teachers!

We’re grateful to all of the businesses who participated and helped make this year’s collection a success. 📚✏️
