Co- President Gavin Stodden is a senior who joined PCOC because he feels motivated contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for children, battling cancer through advocacy and support within the gustavus community. A goal he has for the school year is to continue to help the club grow so that we can make an impact on even more lives!

Co- President Emily, a senior, joined PCOC because she saw the impact it makes on the superheroes and that makes her extremely happy! It brightens her day to see such strong kids, and parents, and to help put a smile on their faces in the mist of adversity in their lives. It’s so wonderful to see kids just getting to be kids! Emily would love to do more advocacy and awareness work across gustavus in the greater St. Peter community. Thanks for all you do, Emily!

Cristina, a senior joined PCOC because she has seen the impact it has brought to the campus’ community and the way the organization has been raising awareness as well as advocating for the young superheroes in numerous ways. A goal she has for the year is to see as many smiling superheroes as possible with their goodie boxes and numerous letters from all the students at Gustavus!

Adrienne, a junior loves PCOC because she gets to be a part of joy in the superheroes’ lives. All of the kids that we send brave boxes and cards to, have been through a lifetime of hardships in such a little amount of time. One of her favorite parts of PCOC is seeing the reactions of the superheroes while opening their boxes. We don’t just touch their lives, but their whole family lives. This club is one way to educate the communities around us about pediatric cancer and the superheroes fighting. One goal she has for herself this year is to spread our message and bring awareness of our organization and mission outside of the gustavus and Saint Peter community, especially to the communities where the leadership team and members are from.
