We round out our posts in the series of getting to know your district leadership a little bit better by highlighting District Governor Becky Bennett.

Read her answers to the questions we asked her below:

Q1. What’s one superpower that would make your Rotary service easier?
A1. Being able to fly so I would be able to attend several of the amazing Rotary events throughout the district each day!

Q2. If you could launch a new Rotary service project tomorrow, what would it be? OR what is your most passionate rotary service project you're engaged with?
A2. I love our Rotary youth programs and seeing the impact it makes on both the students and the Rotarians who interact with them including Rotary Youth Exchange, Seminar 4 Tomorrow's Leaders, Early Act, Interact and Rotaract. I would like to see us have an annual youth summit connecting all of our youth programs, their parents and Rotarians.

So many service projects to choose from but having the opportunity to travel to Honduras three times with Trinity Rotary and District 6950 to support Pure Water for the World project bringing clean water filtration systems and building latrines at schools and homes was life changing. I brought my younger brother, Kevin, with my on my last trip and it was such a special experience.

Q4. What is/was your career/vocation?

A.1 The ability to instantly connect the right people to the right mission — like a human creative switchboard that turns good intentions into real impact, fast.

Q2. If you could launch a new Rotary service project tomorrow, what would it be?
A2. A mobile storytelling + headshot studio that travels to underserved communities and small nonprofits — giving them professional images and brand stories they can actually use to raise money, attract volunteers, and be seen with dignity.
Because visibility is power, and too many good causes are invisible.

Our district leadership—anchored in the values of Rotary—believes deeply in investing in the next generation of leaders. Not just leaders within our clubs, but those who shape, steady, and serve our communities.

Today, we take another bold step in cultivating excellence, advancing the promise of Service Above Self, and preparing the hands and hearts that will carry it forward.

Thankful for the 2026-2027 incoming class of club presidents who are steppiny up to serve. 🙏🏽
