A blackberry milkshake IPA that supports clean water? Yep.

and FMR are teaming up once again to introduce a new beer that celebrates and supports FMR’s environmental conservation efforts.

The beer, named "Deep Roots, Clean Waters," will be a smooth and balanced Blackberry Milkshake IPA.

Come help celebrate its release at a special launch event!

On Thursday, June 18, Broken Clock will donate $1 from every "Deep Roots, Clean Waters" pint sold to FMR.

And they'll continue the kindness afterward, with 15% of total sales of the beer going to help protect and restore the river.

Details at the link above β€” and we hope to see you there on June 18!

From the wild rice beds at its headwaters in Minnesota to the oyster reefs at its mouth in Louisiana, the Mississippi River sustains life, including ours. 🌾πŸ¦ͺ

For thousands of years, Indigenous peoples have depended on these waters for nourishment, travel, and trade, and held them as sacred. The River remains one of the world's most important cultural and ecological corridors β€” and one of the most threatened.

On , we honor that legacy and recommit to protecting it.

Next week is a big one for the πŸ’§

River Days of action officially kicks off on June 1. Running through June 15, it's a chance for everyone along the river β€” from the Headwaters to the Gulf β€” to come together and celebrate the Mighty Mississippi.

Events run throughout those two weeks, with cleanups, guided paddles, educational programs, community gatherings and more. There are also online events if you can't make one in person.

FMR is involved in two of the numerous events happening in Minnesota. You can learn more by visiting the link below πŸ‘‡

Experience the joy of paddling on our nation’s most famous river!

Paddling on the Mississippi is a sublime activity, and the Opener has various tours, races and relays for everyone from beginners to ultra-endurance athletes. You can paddle solo, tandem or as part of a team, and all self-powered boats are welcome.

Routes range from five to 145 miles. New this year is "the Crow River 17," a paddle that includes nine miles on the Crow River plus eight on the Mississippi River.

Wrap up the weekend at the post-paddle party on Sunday in Anoka with live music, pizza and a great finish line atmosphere.

Rental canoes and kayaks are available for the 5-mile β€œRoot Beer Float”; for all other events, boats can be rented through Clearwaters Outfitting (who will pick them up at the finish line).
