The Northern Lights Foundation - Twin Cities

The Northern Lights Foundation - Twin Cities The Northern Lights seeks to ease emotional and financial stresses placed on families with children facing life threatening illnesses.

Background

Dr. Ken Larson, a Duluth dentist, founded the Northern Lights Foundation. Through his involvement with a similar national organization, he was inspired to create a local version, which would assist area families in financial need and grant wishes to children affected by life-threatening conditions. Mission

Our mission is to grant wishes and distribute funds that address the needs and

wishes of Northland children – and their families – with life threatening conditions. The Need

Bringing statistics even closer to home, one in five families with children has a child with a special health care need that will require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children in general, and may put the family in crisis. Ways to give

When you give to The Northern Lights Foundation, your gifts help meet the wishes and needs of Northland area children – and their families – with life-threatening conditions. We welcome gifts that will help our children now and into the future. Donations can be made through our secure Web site, by mail and in person.
