This week, we celebrate the incredible Certified Nursing Assistants who care for our tiniest, most vulnerable humans with patience, gentleness, and love.

CNAs are often the first hands to hold a newborn, the calm voice soothing a fussy baby, and the steady support for parents who are overwhelmed, exhausted, or scared. Their work is tender, physical, emotional — and absolutely essential.

At Pooper Troopers, we believe every baby deserves dignity, comfort, and care. CNAs live that mission every single day.

Today we celebrate the people who make the Pooper Troopers mission possible — our volunteers.

You move diapers, lift spirits, show up in the heat, the cold, the chaos, and the quiet.

You give your time, your energy, and your heart so families in our community never have to choose between diapers and other essentials.

Because of you, babies stay clean, parents breathe easier, and our community grows stronger.

We couldn’t do this work without you — and we wouldn’t want to either.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Pooper Troopers out there 💐

To the moms doing it all on no sleep, cold coffee, and pure determination.
To the first-time moms figuring it out one diaper at a time.
To the seasoned moms who could probably change a diaper blindfolded.
To the bonus moms, stepmoms, foster moms, adoptive moms, and grandmas stepping in with endless love.
To the moms-to-be dreaming of the little one they can’t wait to meet.
To the angel moms carrying love and loss at the same time.
To the pet moms whose camera rolls are 98% fur babies.
To the dads, grandparents, family members, and caregivers filling the role of “mom” with love, patience, and sacrifice.

Motherhood doesn’t come in one shape, one story, or one title.

Today we celebrate all the love, chaos, snacks, wipes, cuddles, meltdowns, milestones, and magic that come with showing up for the little ones who call you theirs.

And you all showed up like Jedi with snacks.

✨ A HUGE thank you to all the bars who threw their livers, hearts, and premade concoctions into our 2nd Annual Tournament of Shots at the 3rd Annual Bottoms Up for Babies Bash.

You all showed up. You all showed out. And honestly… we’re still not convinced some of these shots were legal in all 50 states.

But the people have spoken (some slurred, but still — democracy).
Here’s how the crowd ranked the madness:

🥇 1st Place: Dog Prairie Tavern – STP
The shot that made grown adults say “I could drink 12 of these” and then immediately regret that confidence.

🥈 2nd Place: Bleachers Sports Bar – Hurricane Gus
A shot so powerful it could probably fuel a leaf blower.

🥉 3rd Place: Parrot's Bar & Grill – Apple Pie Shot
Basically fall in a cup. Grandma would be proud. Or concerned.

4️⃣ Hotshots – Nerd Bomb
For everyone who ever wished their childhood candy came with a buzz.

5️⃣ LuLu's Bar and Grill– Mexican Candy
Sweet, spicy, and responsible for at least three people saying “I’m fine” when they were absolutely not.

6️⃣The Penalty Box – The Juicy B
A shot that tastes like summer vacation and questionable decisions.

7️⃣ Jim and Debs Lakeside Pub at Hotel Lake St. Louis – Lakewater
Shockingly delicious for something named after what your flip-flop sinks into at the lake.

8️⃣ Lowrey's Streetside PUB– Donkey Punch
The name alone deserves an award. The shot wasn’t bad either.

💛 And while the guests ranked them, let’s be real — there wasn’t a single losing shot. Every bar brought their A‑game, their creativity, and their “sure, why not?” energy. This competition was fun, chaotic, and very tasty, and we’re so grateful to each bar for stepping up to support the babies.

🌎 Even bartenders want to help change the world —one diaper, one shot, one questionable flavor combo at a time.

👉 Next time you’re out, go show some love to the bars that showed love to us. Supporting them means supporting the community. Supporting the community means more diapers. And more diapers means fewer… surprises.
