Let’s Share Our Blessings — And Help Them Rise

Meet Sesen and Telka — two visually impaired young women from rural Ethiopia. Against all odds, they’re now university students. And they’re just 2 of 30 girls we support each month through EthioGBFF.

Each stipend helps cover hygiene products, transportation, school supplies — and offers them dignity, stability, and hope.

But our funding is uncertain — and every month we ask: how long can we keep going?

If you’ve been blessed with opportunity, this is your chance to extend that blessing forward.

"Educating a young woman is educating the future."
Let’s lift these girls higher — and build the Ethiopia we all want to see.

30 Students. 30 Dreams. One Promise. Keep It Alive.

No Cakes. No Cards. Just Education.

Yesterday, we deposited this month’s stipends into the accounts of 30 bright young women in rural Ethiopia.
Today is my birthday.

This year, I’m not asking for cards or cake. My only birthday wish is simple and powerful:

Help us fund next month’s scholarships for these 30 future leaders.

Each $45 stipend covers:

Transportation to and from university

Hygiene supplies and school materials

Dignity, stability, and academic confidence

We support students like:

Sesen – Visually impaired, raised by a single mother, studying Social Science at Wollo University

Teleka – Visually impaired, daughter of a poor farmer, studying Social Science at Weldiya University

Zerfe – From a low-income household, now studying Engineering

These young women are resilient, ambitious, and ready to change their communities — but they need your help to stay in school.

Why EthioGBFF?

100% volunteer-run. No salaries. No overhead.

Direct monthly deposits to each student.

Transparent and accountable — View our financials and Candid profile

They Come From Villages Without Roads — But Their Dreams Travel Far.

We Haven’t Reached Our Goal — Tomorrow Is the 1st. Help Us Keep Our Promise.

Dear friends,

Tomorrow is the 1st of the month — the day we deliver on our promise.

At EthioGBFF, we provide monthly stipends to 30 girls in rural Ethiopia so they can stay in school. Two of those bright young women are Feven and Netsanet, pictured above.

But as of today, we haven’t met our July fundraising goal. Without your help, we may fall short of the support these students count on for:

Transportation to university

Hygiene and personal care

A chance to stay in school and build a brighter future

These stipends are not just financial support — they’re lifelines.

Please give today to ensure Feven, Netsanet, and 28 others like them receive the help they’ve earned.

30 Girls. 1 Day Left. Will You Be the Reason They Stay in School?

Tomorrow, their future depends on us.

At the Ethiopian Girls’ Bright Future Fund, we provide monthly stipends to 30 university students from some of the most underserved areas in Ethiopia. These young women rely on that support to cover:

Transportation to and from campus

Hygiene products and personal care

School supplies and essentials

And most importantly — dignity, stability, and peace of mind

But as of today, we’ve only raised $1,070 of our $2,000 goal for July. And those stipends are scheduled to go out tomorrow.

We’re almost out of time.

See photos of Haymanot & Meseret
One was raised by a janitor. The other was by a poor farmer.
Both beat the odds. Both now study natural science at top universities in Ethiopia.
Their story is proof: when girls are given a chance, they don’t just change their own future — they uplift entire communities.

Here’s how you can help — right now:

$20 = Supports 1 student for the month
$40 = Supports 2 students
Any amount = Helps us keep our promise

Let’s show these girls that they are not alone.
Be the reason they stay in school. Be the reason they keep going.
