The SPOC is welcoming all in the neighborhood to a free sewing workshop! The next session will be held on March 27 at 6:30pm at Jehovah Lutheran Church in St. Paul, MN.

The opportunity to sew and engage with the community is one more way that the members of the SPOC are following God’s call to be witnesses to everyone in every place we find ourselves.

SPOC Lenten Community Meals have returned! Both Jehovah Lutheran Church (1566 Thomas Ave.) and Emmaus Lutheran Church (1074 Idaho Ave. W.) are hosting free community meals either before or after their Lenten services. March 25 is the last date for these services and meals. Service at Emmaus is 12pm noon, with lunch to follow. Dinner at Jehovah is at 5:30pm with service to follow at 6:30pm.

Jehovah Lutheran Church worships on Sundays at 9:30am. Sunday School and Adult Ed. class meet at 11:00am.

The first session will be held on February 20 at 6:30pm at Jehovah Lutheran Church in St. Paul, MN.

The Saint Paul Outreach Center is excited to have the opportunity to connect with the community in a brand new way, through sewing seeds of friendship. Our hope is that by engaging in meaningful conversation and sewing with our neighbors—and perhaps eventually their family and friends—we might have opportunities to share why we at the SPOC join together in all we do, namely, because we believe that Jesus Christ has lived, died, and risen for all of us and them. The opportunity to sew and engage is one more way that the members of the SPOC are following God’s call to be witnesses to everyone in every place we find ourselves.

Free ESL Classes start in January 2026!

The SPOC hosts FREE English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. These are open to the community. The second session will begin the week of 12 January 2026.

Pickleball continues in December! The next dates are Friday, December 5 and Friday, December 19.
