Plastic yard signs from garage sales and election campaigns don't have to end up in the trash. Bring them to Ramsey County's Environmental Center for free recycling.

Just another way to keep plastics out of the trash and give materials a second life.

Beginning the evening of Sunday, Aug. 16, through Friday, Aug. 21, the West 7th St. ramp to southbound I-35E will reopen and the Shepard Rd. ramp to southbound I-35E will close temporarily. Motorists traveling southbound on West 7th St. will be able to use the ramp to access southbound I-35E.

The temporary ramp switch will allow construction crews to make a pipe connection beneath the Shepard Rd. ramp. The temporary configuration will remain in place for one week and switch back to the previous closure on the morning of Saturday, Aug. 22, when the West 7th St. ramp will close again, and the Shepard Rd. ramp to southbound I-35E will reopen. The West 7th St. ramp will remain closed through fall 2026.
