Navigating the social pressures of adolescence requires strong problem-solving skills. Programs emphasize interpersonal growth, teaching youth how to work with others who are different from them. Diverse groups of Minnesota youth learn to build healthy peer networks through structured challenges, where 93% of members report they try to help when they see someone in need. Practiced intentionally all month long within our network.

Juvenile crime and negative risk behaviors peak drastically on summer afternoons when youth are left unsupervised. Afterschool and summer programs serve as a proven deterrent, fostering public safety for middle and high school students who face pressure to engage in negative risk-taking. We provide a safe, supervised environment that reduces crime and substance use. Operating during high-risk afternoon hours all summer long at local Clubs statewide.

The statewide movement actively 'Opens the Door to Great Futures' by modeling excellent character development for the next generation of Minnesota leaders. By providing inclusive environments, 86% of members say they feel empowered to stand up for what is right. Cultivated daily throughout July inside all Minnesota Clubs.

Entertainment screen use for teens averages over 8 hours a day, contributing to sedentary habits. Clubs offer a healthy alternative by reducing screen time and increasing physical activity. Minnesota tweens and teens looking for healthy ways to spend their summer utilize our evidence-based Triple Play curriculum, helping youth gain an average of 10 additional minutes of daily exercise. Integrated daily into camp schedules on fields and courts at local Clubs.
