📢 We're hiring! Join the CNS team as our Governance Specialist.

The Child Neurology Society is looking for a skilled, organized professional to lead our governance operations — committees, board support, elections, and more.

🏠 Fully remote (IL, WI, IN, MO, or MN)
🕐 Full-time, exempt
✈️ 10–15% travel annually

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of nonprofit board/committee experience, strong writing skills, and a high standard of discretion. Medical or scientific association background is a plus.
This is a meaningful role at a national organization serving children with neurological disorders.

🎉 The Child Neurology Society congratulates Margie Ream, MD, PhD, on her election as Chair of the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) Board of Directors.

Dr. Ream began her two-year term on May 1, 2026. An attending pediatric neurologist and Director of the Leukodystrophy Clinic at Nationwide Children's Hospital, she also serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and directs the Child Neurology Residency Program.

Since joining the UCNS Board in 2021 as the representative of the Child Neurology Educators Committee, Dr. Ream has served in several leadership positions, including Treasurer and Vice Chair.

We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved achievement and look forward to her continued contributions to child neurology. Congratulations, Dr. Ream!
