Solidarity with hospice nurses as they put the heat on Allina for a fair contract!
100% UNITED: ALLINA HOSPICE NURSES AUTHORIZE 7-DAY ULP STRIKE
Newly organized Allina Hospice nurses voted unanimously to authorize a seven-day ULP strike after more than a year of bargaining for a fair first contract.
These union members are fighting for fair pay for long and irregular hours, holiday premium pay, reasonable caseloads, and meaningful schedule flexibility. The vote comes weeks after their July 6 strike and as Attorney General Keith Ellison reviews Sutter Health’s proposed acquisition of Allina.
These hospice nurses care for Minnesotans at their most vulnerable. They deserve a fair contract and they are 100% united to fight for one.
_____
Strike Dates: TBD
The two sides are set to return to the bargaining table, with the assistance of a federal mediator, on Friday, August 28th.
