Abby Kay Lydon Memorial Scholarship Join Abby Kay's family and friends and help students achieve fulfilling careers in child development and early learning.

Because of Abby’s strong interest in caring for children and education, The Lydon family and friends felt there could not be a better memorial for her than to create the Abby Kay Lydon Memorial Scholarship in the Child Development field. A $1000.00 award will be given each year to a student in good standing at Saint Paul College, who has competed at least one semester in the Child Development prog

ram. An endowment has been established at the college that canreceive tax deductible donations to help fund the scholarship.We ask that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to the endowment. Our goal is to reach $10,000.00 and any amount you could donate will help educate a deserving student in the memory of Abby Kay Lydon for years to come. CARJACKING ARREST UPDATE
The two suspects arrested Tuesday by the Ramsey County CAT Unit were charged today in Hennepin County with numerous felony counts including Aggravated Robbery (Carjacking). Additional charges are expected from other jurisdictions. These two were responsible for a crime wave not seen in the metro for some time. Kashawn Jason Wertman 9-8-03 was charged with 8 counts of Aggravated Robbery, 8 counts of Simple Robbery and 1 count of Theft. His accomplice, Nautica Alana Argue 10-28-02 was charged with 7 counts of Aggravated Robbery, 6 counts of Simple Robbery and 1 count of Theft. We will talk more about this incident tonight while Live on Patrol.

We moved the Scholarship To Century College this year and will be awarding it to a White bear high School graduate each year. Abby was an Alumni of White bear and our family thought it was fitting to bring the scholarship to her school. COVID-19 has disrupted much in 2020 including meeting the young lady awarded the Abby Kay Lydon Scholarship as we have met all the awardees in the past.
