MAS Minnesota is a chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS), a national grass-roots organization. MAS is a religious, charitable, social, cultural, and educational not-for-profit organization. It is a pioneering Islamic revival organization that seeks to uplift the individual, family, and society. Our mission is “to move people to strive for God consciousness, liberty and justice and to convey Islam with utmost clarity." Our vision is a “virtuous and just American society.”

We seek to empower the American Muslim community to live according to a balanced and comprehensive understanding of Islam.

There are moments when the road feels uncertain, and the heart grows heavy. In those moments, remember the promise of Allah to those who remain steadfast.

Everyone in your life has a position, and you should know who comes first, then serve them accordingly. Not when it's convenient, and not only when you're in a good mood. Always.

The real test is whether you have adab when you aren't happy or at your best.

You can enforce rules. You can't enforce love. 💛

And in a world where your child will eventually choose everything for themselves (their friends, their major, their spouse) the only thing that travels and stays with them is what they love.

So ask yourself: am I raising my kids to obey Islam, or to love it?
