Let’s Talk About Mental Health Resources | Su***de Prevention Awareness Month – Week 4

Hi everyone,
September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

Week 4: Let’s Talk About Mental Health Resources

Finding the right support can sometimes feel difficult. Knowing where to start can make it a little easier.

Here are a few ways to find support:
- Talk to someone: Reach out to a trusted family member, friend, or someone you feel comfortable with.
- Connect with support: Consider a support group or community resource to connect with others.
- Find professional help: A mental health professional can provide support and guidance.
- Know where to turn: Local and national resources are available when you need additional help.

You don’t have to go through a difficult time alone. Reaching out for support is an important first step.

Take a moment to learn about the mental health resources available in your community and share them with someone who may need them.

Hi everyone,

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

Week 3: Let’s Talk About Mental Health in Our Community

Talking about mental health can help us feel supported, connected, and less alone.

Supporting mental health in our community doesn’t have to be difficult:
- Talk & be kind: A kind word or simple check-in can make a difference.
- Support each other: Let others know they don’t have to face difficult times alone.
- Know the warning signs: Pay attention when someone may be struggling.
- Get help & connect: Encourage reaching out to trusted people and resources.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Just start talking.

Take a moment to check in with someone you care about today.

Need Support? Call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Hi everyone,

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

Week 2: Let’s Ask, Listen & Support

A simple question like “How are you really doing?” can be a meaningful way to check in, listen, and show someone they are cared for and not alone.

Supporting someone doesn’t have to be difficult:

- Ask & listen openly: Give someone space to share what they’re going through.
- Be there & show support: Let them know they don’t have to face difficult times alone.
- Help keep them safe: Take concerns seriously and help connect them with support.
- Help them connect: Encourage reaching out to trusted people and resources.
- Follow up & stay connected: A simple check-in can make a difference.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Just start talking.

Take a moment to check in with someone you care about today.

Need Support? Call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
