Jefferson Action Ordinary Citizens. Extraordinary Democracy. www.jeffersonaction.org

Jefferson Action is currently developing an important and unique project for 2012, called the Citizens Election Forum (CEF), to get public input on the federal budget and the government’s role in creating jobs. More in-depth than an opinion poll, and more representative than town hall meetings, the CEF will promote thoughtful recommendations by ordinary citizens to overcome the divisive sound bites that dominate economic discussions in political campaigns.

Jefferson Action programs are now conducted principally through our 501(c)(3), the Jefferson Center. Like us on facebook.com/JeffersonCtr and visit jefferson-center.org to learn more.

We partner with citizens, communities, and institutions to design and implement informed, innovative, and democratic processes to address today’s toughest challenges.
