Bulldog Community Theatre The Bulldog Community Theatre (BCT) formed in the Spring of 2010. They are always looking for anyone interested in being involved with community theatre.

With the closing of St. Bernard's Schools, the theatre community set out to continue our great drama, comedy, and musical tradition by incorporating students, alumni, parents, and fans into a new organization: the Bulldog Community Theatre. Our main goal right now is to produce one show by August 1, 2011. This will most likely be a "simple" show--perhaps like "A Night of Comedy and Desserts" with

about seven student-directed one-acts. These typically involve minimal sets and props and would be a great launching point for us. PLEASE--if you have any questions, comments, concerns, hopes, ideas, etc, LET US KNOW! We are more than happy to answer questions, consider suggestions, and everything else in between! This is absolutely a community effort. Spread the word!

IT'S ALMOST SHOWTIME!!!

Our newest production, "The Mousetrap" by Agatha Christie is coming to the Historic Mound's Theatre in Saint Paul. Showtimes will be Friday 1/8 & Saturday 1/9 at 7:00 pm, and Sunday 1/10 at 2:00 pm. This is the world's longest running play, and we are so excited to bring the classic murder mystery to Mounds Theatre's historic stage! Mark your calendars! Tickets will be available for purchase soon...we'll keep you posted.

Call for Actors!
Auditions for Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap:
TUESDAY, October 13th: 6:00 PM-8:30 PM
SATURDAY, October 17th: 11:00 AM-2:00 PM

Please email [email protected] to sign up for an audition time.

Auditions will take place at the Historic Mounds Theatre, 1029 Hudson Road, St. Paul 55106. Street parking is available. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out a brief audition form, and be prepared to list probable scheduling conflicts for October, November and December. Resumes and headshots are welcome but not necessary.

Please prepare a 1-minute contemporary monologue and a short joke. Exhibiting a mastery of accents, dialects, and/or impressions is especially welcome. You may also be asked to do a cold read from the script.

Rehearsals:
Historic Mounds Theatre
Roughly three per week, weeknights and/or weekend afternoons between October 25 and January 8. Exact dates and times pending cast availability. Schedule will include time off for cast and crew to enjoy the winter holidays.

Friday, January 8 at 7:00 PM
Saturday, January 9 at 7:00 PM
Sunday, January 10 at 2:00 PM

Bulldog Community Theatre is seeking a DIRECTOR
January 2016

The Bulldog Community Theatre has its roots in the North End of St. Paul, Minnesota stemming from the strong theatre program of St. Bernards High School in St. Paul. Since the closing of the school in 2010, the Bulldog Community Theatre has opened its productions to actors and directors of all experience levels with performances such as “The Importance of Being Earnest” in 2012 and “Drinking Habits” in 2013.

Directing position is open to anyone and is perfect for those seeking directing experience. College students encouraged to apply. We are offering a small stipend to the director. Candidate must be willing to work within a limited budget. Performances planned for January 8-10, 2016 at the Historic Mounds Theatre in St. Paul. We prefer quirky comedies. One show we are currently considering is “The Book of Liz” written by brother and sister; David and Amy Sedaris.
