IMPACT Statement from 2024: Kevin has made our boys' developmental experience in Blackhawks a joy! They look up to him as a role model both as a player and as a person. His calm demeanor paired with his high expectations of effort and attitude have led to well-rounded players.

Coaches will be honored on May 20th at Gabe's and recognized at the Blackhawks BASH (Save the Date: November 15)!! Every story matters and we want to share them among our community, a core pillar of our Blackhawk identity.

Any initiative that removes barriers for enjoyment and offers developmental opportunities for youth is worth supporting. This is a GREAT opportunity for kids to enjoy a pressure free, no pay to play environment and have fun staying active and playing soccer!

SOL of the Cities Futsal League, TC Sol Futsal, and the Karen FA are excited to host the Urban Soccer Diploma Coaching Course.

In partnership with Major League Soccer, United Soccer Coaches, and Minnesota United FC, we look forward to providing you with an exceptional coaching clinic at Como Park High School in St. Paul.

The Urban Soccer Diploma was conceived out of the need to reach coaches that were not being served by the typical coach education pathways. These coaches work for community-based soccer organizations that serve low-resourced communities, and often either do not charge a fee to participate, or charge players a nominal fee. This can also mean that they do not have access to high-quality playing facilities or the means to afford typical league fees and new equipment from season to season. This course is offered to all coaches and speaks directly to the challenges that urban- or community-based organizations face and helps them use the tools at their disposal to run quality, youth-development-focused training sessions.

The Urban Soccer Diploma will be offered at the conclusion of the 2022 SOL of the Cities Futsal League and the start of MLS All Star week in St. Paul. Proceeds go towards our Community Champions Program, providing cost-free futsal opportunities for kids, free meals for youth in our communities, free uniforms for our athletes, and planning our community service project events.

I cannot take care of anyone if first I don’t take care of my own. I pour my hearth and soul in what I do and my hearth and soul need to be with my kid now. Futbol for All Summer Camps are done for 2021. I must tend to my own and I cannot in clear conscience run camps with anything less than my best, and I cannot offer my best when my own emotional and physiological wellbeing is in dire straits and I must care for my own children. I’m grateful for the continued support and love from all involved but as of now camps are done until next year. I will miss the kids and families but I’m convinced this is the right thing to do. Mental health matters and depression is NOT a character flaw, I need to tend to my own and it will require my full energy and love. Hope you understand and will see you next year. We do the right thing, because it’s the right thing to do.
