🍽️ Food from the Heart: Meet Mama Sheila’s House of Soul

What better way to celebrate Heart & Soul than by sharing a soul food meal rooted in community, passion, and connection?

We’re excited to have Mama Sheila's House of Soul cater this year’s Together at the Table: Heart & Soul! ❤️

Founded in 2016 by Mama Sheila and Frederick Brathwaite, the South Minneapolis restaurant grew from Mama Sheila’s passion for preparing meals for her church into a beloved community gathering place. Today, that same spirit of hospitality and community can be felt in every recipe.

At Together at the Table, we’ll gather over a delicious meal from Mama Sheila’s while sharing stories, meeting new people, and experiencing the connection that happens when we come together around the table.

A shared meal has a way of bringing people together, opening conversations, and turning a table into a place of belonging. ❤️

Vegan options will also be available. 🌱

At Face to Face, we see the impact of connection every day. When young people have spaces where they can build relationships, get involved, and feel like they belong, they have opportunities to grow and thrive.

🌟💜 We had a wonderful time connecting with our neighbors at National Night Out!

Our team enjoyed spending the evening with community members, local police and fire departments, and families from across the neighborhood. From live music and great food to kids' activities, it was a celebration of what makes our community strong.

At the Face to Face table, we loved meeting so many new faces and adding a little fun with our temporary tattoo station! Events like National Night Out are a great reminder that building safe, healthy communities starts with connection.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We're grateful to be part of such a caring community. 💜

💜 Thank You for Helping Re-Stock Essential Supplies for Youth!

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, we collected over $10,000 worth of new hygiene products and essential items to support young people accessing Face to Face.

Thanks to every individual, family, business, and community group who donated, hosted drives, shared our campaign, or helped spread the word. Your support ensures youth have access to dental care items, feminine hygiene products, and everyday essentials that promote health, confidence, and dignity.

Together, you've helped remove barriers and made sure young people have the resources they need to care for themselves and navigate daily life.

Thank you for standing with youth and making this campaign a success. We couldn't have done it without you! 💜
