Maryland Avenue Improvements

Wednesday August 5th Maryland Avenue Improvements Open House
4:00-6:00 PM North End Community Center 145 Lawson

The City of Saint Paul, in partnership with Ramsey County, is planning improvements to Maryland Avenue. The second Maryland Avenue Design Survey will stay open through August 31, 2026.
Take the Survey
In the first phase of engagement for this project, the community desires safer travel for all modes (pedestrians, bicyclists, cars, trucks and buses), slower speeds, and updated infrastructure (things like repaving sidewalks and removing potholes).
Survey Goals
Based on community input and technical analysis, two potential alternatives for Maryland Avenue have been drafted. Both options include space for bicycling. Saint Paul’s Bicycle Plan (adopted in 2024) identifies this stretch of Maryland for implementation of a separated bikeway. This survey will help PW understand what trade-offs should be prioritized and gather feedback on the draft designs
