DinoMights is a non-profit youth development program serving youth in the Phillips, Powderhorn, and Central neighborhoods of south Minneapolis. We offer youth the opportunity to play hockey in neighborhoods where the sport is uncommon. DinoMights partners with the NHL Diversity Task to encourage kids from diverse backgrounds to join a sport most commonly played by white males. We believe hockey pr
ovides opportunities for our youth to learn how to work as a team, gain lasting friendships, and build character. DinoMights also offers tutoring to our youth. We aim to support our kids in their academic success by ensuring every kid is reading on grade-level. In the summer, when school is out and hockey is out of season, we bring our youth to various camps. In the past we have brought our youth Top Dog Hockey Camp, Impact Camp, Silver Birch Ranch, Kids Across America, and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
