Career Pathways Graduation Ceremony🎓✨

Last Friday we gathered with CLUES to celebrate our graduates! Career Pathways presented 22 individuals with certificates of graduation, marking their completion of their CNA/Caregiver program track. We are so proud of all of the graduates and we cannot wait to see what they will accomplish as they continue to make an impact on the community💙

Get ready for School Tools🖍️

School Tools is Interfaith Action's summertime school supply drive. This community effort aims to help provide kids with the supplies they need in order to start the school year strong.

✨ Our 2026 recipients are: American Indian Magnet School, CornerHouse Children’s Advocacy Center, Department of Indian Work, Emma Norton Services, Career Pathways, Project Home, and Project REACH

Annual Assembly 2026🪐

This year's Annual Assembly was marked by milestones as we celebrated 120 years of Interfaith Action as well as 70 years of Department of Indian Work! But beyond years, we also celebrated many milestones that were marked by human moments, shared between all of us. We are so grateful to all of our attendees who took time to mark one (or a few😉) of these moments on our collective timeline, a true testament to the dedication and care that you bring to this work every day. We cannot wait for the days, months, and years of great work that lies ahead of us. We know that together, we will continue to create a better east metro for all💙

Annual Assembly is just around the corner✨

This year's Annual Assembly will be held from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. We'll look back at where we have traveled over the last 120 years, and celebrate the staff, volunteers, and faith communities who have committed themselves to making lives better for our neighbors in the east metro in the years to come.

The 2026 Mahle Lecture🌿

Last Thursday Interfaith Action's own Sara Liegl and Rachel McIver Morey gave the keynote speech at the 2026 Mahle Lecture at Hamline University. The lecture theme, "Just Resilience: How to Stay in the Struggle for the Long Haul" explored the role of faith communities in the fight of housing justice and considered how faith traditions can stay engaged in the journey to ending homelessness. With over 200 registered and 53 faith communities represented we were blown away by the support and dedication that our Twin Cities neighbors showed up with.

A special "thank you" goes out to the Mahle family, Chaplain Kelly, the Multi Faith Student Alliance, and all of our partners along the way for all of their hard work and support that made this lecture possible💙
