As Minnesota celebrates a historic milestone in ending Veteran homelessness, MACV and our partners remain focused on helping Veterans find and maintain long-term housing stability.

MACV provided services to 3,281 Veterans in 2025! As Minnesota celebrates the effective end of Veteran homelessness, your continued support helps us sustain this historic progress, prevent future housing crises, and connect more Veterans to long-term housing stability.

Ramsey County has met the benchmarks to declare the effective end of Veteran homelessness, making Minnesota the fourth state in the nation where every county has reached this milestone!

This achievement reflects years of collaboration among MACV, service providers, government agencies, and community partners working toward a shared goal.

The effective end does not mean Veterans will never experience homelessness again. It means we have a coordinated system to prevent homelessness whenever possible and respond quickly when it occurs.

This is a milestone, not a finish line. Sustaining this progress will take continued investment, strong partnerships, and a shared commitment to long-term housing stability.

At MACV, we're proud to be part of this statewide effort and remain committed to ending Veteran homelessness!

Legal issues can stand in the way of long-term stability. That is why MACV brought the free Vetlaw Clinic for low-income Veterans back to the Minneapolis VA!

Attorneys, MACV staff, County Veteran Service Officers, and child support officers will be available throughout the day to assist and advise Veterans on their legal issues.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day is an official state holiday in Minnesota, recognizing the resilience, rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples.

Today, we also honor Native American Veterans and service members whose generations of military service, sacrifice, and leadership have profoundly impacted our nation.

Shoutout to everyone who showed up at the James Ballentine "Uptown" VFW - Post 246 Uptown VFW last week for Shelter from the Storm II! Great music, a great crowd, and a whole lot of energy, all while raising money to support MACV’s work across Minnesota.

Thank you to the musicians, organizers, Uptown VFW, and everyone who came out and made the night one to remember.
