🌟 Thank you for making history with us! 🌟

On September 19th, we hosted the largest Brick Ceremony in Rondo Plaza's history, and it was an unforgettable day! We installed over 90 bricks at the plaza and heard stories from 20+ Rondolites about their families, memories, and connections to the community. This was one big Rondo reunion!

✨ Join us for RCODE's 7th Annual Every Brick Counts Ceremony! ✨

We’re celebrating the rich history and stories of our community, one brick at a time. This annual event honors those who have contributed to the Rondo Plaza's legacy by purchasing engraved bricks for our history panel pathway.

2024 has been a record year for the Engraved Brick Program, with 90+ bricks purchased and dedicated to honoring the people, places, and memories that shape the Rondo community.

In 2024, we'll also be honoring the Golden Women of Rondo, a group of women 90+ years young, who came together in the Spring to honor those women that came before them.

Happening tonight! We'll see you at the plaza from 6-8 pm.

Join us for the second concert in the 2024 “Jazz at the Plaza” series on August 21st from 6-8 pm. We’ll hear music from Big Shoes 4Tet, led by saxophonists Joe Mayo and Clay Pufahl. The ensemble also includes bassist Jeremy Boettcher and drummer Joey Van Phillips. With all major players on the Twin Cities jazz scene, Big Shoe mixes the modern fire of bebop jazz with a modern take on 21st century jazz!

Jazz at Rondo Plaza offers an outdoor jazz club complete with seating, tables, and a professional sound system. These events are put on in partnership with JazzAccess and are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

This training may be especially helpful for leaders of non­-profits, faith communities, sororities & fraternities, and other institutions who want to be a resource for questions about voting and elections this year.

Save the date! RCODE is celebrating our 7th annual Every Brick Counts Ceremony on Thursday, September 19th from 3-5 pm at the Rondo Commemorative Plaza.

This event honors those who have purchased bricks for installation along the plaza's history walk. This year has been a record year for engraved bricks -- we have received over 50 brick requests. We are so grateful to be part of a community that cherishes the memories and stories shaping our future.

Haven't purchased a brick yet? There's still time! Just fill out the form on our website by August 14th, and your brick will be engraved with a personalized message and placed in the history walk by September 19th.

Last Wednesday, we enjoyed a beautiful night accompanied by spirited jazz from the Jack Breen Ensemble!

In partnership with JazzAccess, RCODE invites you to Jazz at the Plaza this Wednesday, July 22nd from 6-8 pm. This performance will feature the Jack Breen ensemble.

Jack is an emerging saxophone voice in the Twin Cities. Currently on faculty at Walker | West Music SChool, Jack has performed with national artists such as Bill Carrothers, Mike Stern, Jose Encarnancion, and stellar regional players including Kevin Washington, Kavyesh Kaviraj, and Charlie Lincoln. Jack studied at Walker | West with Felix James in 2004.

His group blends classic jazz with new originals. The group has played venues and festivals throughout the area, most recently as the featured artist for the Rondo Community Music Series.
