"Anomalies such as the paranormal and monsters have fascinated me ever since I was a child watching Casper the Friendly Ghost and bigfoot documentaries. I curated the archival collection 'Cryptids' to commemorate that love, show how these creatures influence pop culture, and to demonstrate their presence even in the news world." - Shandi Burrows, MLIS, MPR Archive Fellow
