CLOSING CEREMONY - About 80 riders arrived in Waseca the evening of July 25 after a three-day ride which took them across a wide swath of southern Minnesota. The Ride for Fund 85 raises money toward an American Legion program which provides money to help veterans experiencing a financial emergency.....

During the run, we have one of our youngest members (Ryland) collect coins. And in New Ulm, Vern added his own jar of coins for the cause.

Vern collected and donated $115.89

Ryland collected:
Kick off party: $21.27
Day 1: $13.91
Day 2: $16.90
Day 3: $42.57
for a total of $94.35

A grand total for the run of $210.24!

Some news about the 2026 run.

Hot off the heels of the Fairmont Legion forming its own Legion Riders chapter, the American Legion Riders Fund 85 Run made its way to Fairmont on Friday.
The run is done to help Fund 85 continue its mission for veterans.
