In August 2020, tests confirmed 6-year-old Arabella has end stage renal failure. She is now active on the UNOS donor list and we pray every day for a miracle.

School has restarted for almost everyone now. Keep close tabs on your child(ren) and what they’re up to. I am glad I am close with my kids and they can come to me for everything.

My sick daughter is an easy target for bullying. She tells me everytime someone says something and we discuss how to handle it. The last time some kids went too far and I had to get involved. The conversation went from “so what, are you her sister or her mom?” to “okay, sorry ma’am. It won’t happen again.”

They may be bullied and suffering in private or they may be the bully. Either way, stay alert and stay checking on your kids. Kids can be so vile nowadays and not every kid has the parents behind them to teach them to do better. The CDC reports that children (ages 10-24) su***de rates have increased in the last decade by 62%. Our kids are better than just being another statistic. Shut down the bullies at the source!

A big thank you to everyone who helped cook, sell and buy yesterday! And thank you to Ominous for allowing us the opportunity to join them for their fundraiser! It was a blazing hot day and everyone played their hearts out, people got hurt, tears may have been shed by both cooks and players lol but both fundraisers was an overall success!

And with this, we thank you to the general public for their ongoing support. Both Bella and her Dad are doing great. He should be cleared to go back to work in Sept. We should be life-ing with everyone else come this fall when the kids return to school. Who’s ready for that?! I know I am 🙋🏻‍♀️. Life will definitely be without hiccups but we are better equipped, with the support of our family and friends, to tackle anything that comes our way.

Was randomly giving Bella life lesson tips and tricks and told her I wish I was smarter back then. And if she is ever broke then get rotisserie chickens from Sams club cause they’re $5 and can last her a while.

This girl said I’ll never be broke or hungry cause I’m living with you forever 😂

Does anybody else use the U of M for their children? As grateful as we are for the times they have helped us, it also always seems that everything that could go wrong, usually does.

We went in today for what was supposed to be an in-and-out kidney biopsy to see if there’s been some type of cellular rejection due to increased creatnine levels. Now we are being admitted for blood loss and getting a blood transfusion.

First meal last night after no food for 4 days in the ICU lol, babygirl was so happy. She hasn’t had spaghetti in almost 2 years it seems! Finally moved on up to the recovery floor. Kidney working as it should, she’s annoyed at having to get up to p*e so much 😂

We are finally out of surgery and recovering well.

She wanted a picture to see her tummy. And all she said was “oh good, no staples.” I raised a fckn’ warrior. These battles mean nothing cause we’re going to win this war 💯
