Dear Valued Potential Buyer,

On behalf of the Navajo Nation Jr. Livestock Advisory Board, we are excited to invite you to support our local 4-H and FFA youth at the 2026 Navajo Nation Fair Jr. Livestock Show & Sale in Window Rock, Arizona.

Our young exhibitors spend months raising, grooming, and preparing their market animals—steers, lambs, swine, and goats—for this event. Your participation directly rewards their hard work, helps fund their future educational goals, and supports their ongoing agricultural pursuits.

Fairground Entrance: Enter through Gate 8

Buyer Registration: Opens at 8:30 AM / Closes at 9:30 AM

Auction Start Time: 10:00 AM

Ways to Participate & Support
Bid as a Live Auction Buyer: Purchase high-quality, homegrown market meat for your family, an employee appreciation event, or donate your purchase to a local community shelter. Pre-arranged processing options are available.

Support via Add-Ons: If you prefer not to purchase a full animal, you can contribute direct monetary add-ons in any amount to individual exhibitors, all exhibitors, or the Livestock Committee—either in person or by mail.

Combine Both: Participate in the live auction and apply any remaining budget as add-ons for exhibitors.

Diné College Land Grant Office presents the 2026 Navajo Nation Fair Horticulture Show! On-site registration will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Showcase the fruits of your hard work and celebrate Navajo agriculture, food, and traditions by entering this year’s show.

Categories include Fruits, Hay, Floral Arrangements, Vegetables, Traditional Foods, and Food Preparation.

Entry Criteria:
- Produce must be from this year’s growing season.
- Produce must be grown in the producer’s own field.
- Produce must be attached to the stem, leaf, or vine.
- Fresh produce only. Dry produce will be categorized under Food Preparation.

Come join us on August 24, 2026 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Iron out your 4-H record books to have them ready for fair time.

Records books are important because:
-They document your project journey for the year.
-Track goals, adapt strategies, and improve time management.
-All youth to reflect and plan for the future.
-Support awards and recognition of 4-H projects.

Open to all 4-H members from any club.

Congratulations Bradley Brady!
4-H is a family affair with many current youth being 4th and 5th generation 4-H members. It teaches youth confidence, independence, resilience, and compassion.
The new 4-H year starts October 1, 2026. If you want to get your youth involved, contact your local extension office.

The family of Bradley Paul Norman Brady has developed colorful names for its livestock.
