Calhoun County Cares Our purpose by and large is to enhance the standard of living of all Calhoun County residents. We are NOT a part of County government.

Through the operation of this thrift store, we provide resources to assist individuals, community organizations and the Department of Social Services in Calhoun County. We operate under the Calhoun County Community Resource Development Board, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community charitable organization.

Monday, August 17th, will be the next day to apply for utilities payment assistance due to certain billing cycles - Time is 9:00 - 11:45 or until funds are depleted! Get there early if interested! First Baptist Church, 1743 Calhoun Road, St Matthews. We will not be accepting applications on Monday, September 7th, because of it being Labor Day.
