🧁✨ What a SWEET evening we had at our Cupcake Decorating Class last night! ✨🧁

A huge THANK YOU to Shelbi from Sweetly Rooted for hosting such a fun and creative class! 💕👏

We also want to give a special shoutout to everyone who braved the storm ⛈️🌧️ and still came out to join us. Your dedication made the evening even more special! ❤️

And of course, this event wouldn't have been possible without our amazing helpers—Carmen, Riley, and Patty! 🙌 Thank you for all your hard work behind the scenes to keep things rolling smoothly!

From beautiful cupcake creations 🧁 to lots of laughs and great company, 😄 a wonderful time was had by all!

🌞Junior Chef Summer Sessions kicked off this week! 🎉

Our first session focused on one of everyone’s favorite topics—snacks! 🍎🧀🥤 The Junior Chefs had a blast preparing a variety of delicious treats, including trail mix, cheese quesadillas, smoothies, parfaits, buffalo chicken dip, and fresh lemonade, just to name a few! 😋

The kitchen was filled with excitement as participants learned new skills, created tasty recipes, and stepped outside their comfort zones. 🌟 For many of our Junior Chefs, it was also their very first time tasting some of these foods—and they loved the opportunity to try something new! 🍽️✨

We’re so proud of their creativity, enthusiasm, and willingness to explore new flavors. We can’t wait to see what they cook up next! 🎈👨‍🍳👩‍🍳💛

🧵❤️ Community, creativity, and compassion came together this evening at our Pillow Case Making Workshop! ❤️🧵

Our amazing CEC Makerspace Sewing Studio volunteers, along with past participants from our Beginning Sewing Classes, gathered to put their sewing skills to work for a wonderful cause. ✂️🪡

The CEC Makerspace Sewing Studio is proud to be partnering with The Guardian Angel Center in Kersey! Together, we are creating homemade pillowcases that will accompany the pillows being given to children through the Guardian Angel Center. 🛏️💙

Every stitch represents kindness, care and the power of community coming together to make a difference in a child's life. 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who donated their time and talents this evening. Your generosity is helping bring comfort and smiles to children in our region. 😊💕

There is still more work to be done and we will be holding more Pillow Case Making Workshops through the next several months to complete the project! 💗

🍕We figured we would share the kids' excitement from yesterday when they found out they were getting Don's Pizza-St.Mary’s,Pa for lunch!

🚀🌟 Session #1: Space Day is officially in the books! 🌟🚀

🪐Our campers had an out-of-this-world first day of summer camp!

The day kicked off with Space Trivia 🌎✨ (which was a huge hit!), followed by a Mission to Mars challenge where students had to design their own mission while staying within a budget and meeting specific constraints. 🚀💰🔴

💡Campers also got creative making their own space-themed night lights! They also got the opportunity to bake and decorate delicious galaxy cookies 🍪🌠 in our brand-new cooking studio! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

With beautiful weather on our side ☀️, we headed outside for the Space Rover Challenge 🚙🛰️ before wrapping up the day by designing and testing rocket launchers to see which one could soar the farthest! 🚀💨

From start to finish, it was a fantastic day full of learning, creativity, teamwork, and fun! 🌟
