The St. Marys Area Quarterback Club held its annual election of officers on April 2, with all current officers unanimously re-elected to their positions.
Founded in 1954, the Quarterback Club is dedicated to enhancing and supporting the Flying Dutch Football Program. The organization continues to play a vital role in promoting and sustaining the program through community involvement and ongoing support.
Club officers and directors invite all Flying Dutch football fans, alumni, and parents to attend the next meeting, scheduled for May 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the back room of the St. Marys Eagles. Regular meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of each month at the same time and location for those unable to attend in May.
A unique aspect of the Club is its strong continued involvement from members whose children are no longer in the program. In fact, the majority of the Club’s 64 directors—including its officers—fall into this category, demonstrating a lasting commitment to the team and community.
